Old Harry Rocks and the Foreland 1940s

This aerial photo from the 1940s shows the Foreland and Old Harry Rocks located at Handfast Point and looking South towards Swanage.

Old Harry Rocks are three chalk formations including a stack and stump on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset and mark the most eastern point of the Jurassic Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Old Harry Rocks are east of Studland and about 2.5 miles (4km) north east of Swanage and accessible via footpaths and bridleways from both Swanage and Studland village.
