Add your event

Promote your Event in the Swanage & the Isle of Purbeck Events Diary

You can add your own Swanage and Isle of Purbeck events to the website simply by entering the details in the form on this page. Your event will be sent to one of the event administrators for verification and added to the website within 24 hours.

Fields marked with * are required.

Event Name and Address

Please enter the name and the address, website address, contact email address and telephone number for your event.

If you do not have a website address or telephone please leave these blank.

Event Location

To centre the map on your events location use the direction and zoom arrows or drag using your mouse to move the map to the correct location using your left mouse button and then click to set the location.

Event Category and Booking

Please select the category for your event.

If your event requires booking in advance, please tick the Booking Required checkbox.

Event Dates

Recurring Events
For recurring events such as weekly club meetings or other regular social events, we have the option to assign a weekly repeating day(s) to each event and this will show the event on every week until an expiry date from the "End Date" field which can be set many years ahead if required. Please add a list of the repeating days in the "Event Details" box and we will add your event to repeat on these days.

Events on Different Dates and Times
If your event repeats on different dates, please enter a list of the dates in the "Event Details" box and we will add your event to show on each date.

Please do not submit the same event information with different dates on each submission unless the event title or description are different on some of the events dates.

Event Information

Please enter description for your event and include as much detail as possible. This will help people find your event and aid searches.

Confirmation

Your contact name and contact email address will not be displayed with your event, it is required for us to contact you with any queries regarding your event.
