Join Purbeck Film Festival in the historic ruins of Corfe Castle for a night under the stars and enjoy a movie classic.

After last year’s sold out success, we bring you the second in the eternally popular Harry Potter series, to be enjoyed in the moonlit bailey of Corfe Castle. In his second term as a pupil-wizard, Harry must face off against a medusa-like creature that can petrify from its evil eye. This film is in many ways superior to the first film, with more action and a tighter script. Kenneth Branagh is a welcome addition to the cast and Batman cinematographer Roger Pratt brings a gothic panache to the wonderfully realised Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. As a final sweetener, this is the one with the flying Ford Anglia!

Dressing up is optional but absolutely welcomed!

Gates open from 8.00 pm to allow you plenty of time to pick a perfect place to sit, grab a drink and enjoy a picnic before the film. Film starts 8.45 pm (depending on levels of light).

Tickets £12.50 Adult, £6.50 Child (under 18) and £32 Family Ticket (2 Adults + 2 Children or 1 Adult + 3 Children).

Licensed bar, hot and cold drinks and snacks will be available to purchase on the night. Dress warmly, bring a blanket, your own seating, a torch and insect repellent is advised.

Performances are weather dependent but will only be cancelled in extreme circumstances.
