Learn about the Saxon Kings who enjoyed the sport, from Ethelbald of Mercia to Edward the Confessor, and find out how the royal sport of falconry was very different from the falconry practiced by professional fowlers. Hear the stories of Harold Godwinson and his hawks, taken straight from the Bayeux Tapestry.
