This course is over 2 weekends .Learning to kayak is a great experience from your first paddle stroke to heading out into the open waters of the Jurassic coast. You are constantly learning and pushing your boundaries heading off for bigger and longer adventures.
I have created a program to work with you and coach you from complete beginner to heading off to Old harry rocks for a sea kayaking adventure filled with confidence and the experience to enjoy yourself out on the water.
We will start on the River frome in Wareham and head off on the river to coach you on the fundimental skills needed to get to A to B and back again. During your sessions you will also learn about tides weather and the all important trip planning.
From the River Frome we will spend time in Poole harbour transfering your river skills to the open water of the Harbour. Poole Harbour is a great locatio for many an adventure with multipe locations to start and finish. Poole harbour is tidal and a good knowledge of this will be taught during your time on the water.
Your course will see you ready to head out from Knoll beach with a range of skills at your finger tips and sea kayak over to old Harry rocks and explore the caves and tunnels carved into this great site .
Our fleet of touring kayaks are perfect to learn how to kayak in with a nice flat bottom it gives you more stability while allowing you to turn nicely in the water. We use these kayaks for all our adventures and sea kayaking trip.
H2oadventures supplies all the equipment needed including kayak hire paddles buoyancy aids helmet for sea kayaking trip. there is only 6 places for this course . Total cost £150
