This photo from the late 1800s shows Sunnydale Road, now Durlston Road which leads to Durlston Country Park.
The newly built house on the right of the image was described as a “modern up to date villa in the Durlston Estate for the well-to-do visitor”.
This photo was scanned from a book called “Picturesque Swanage Photographic Views of Swanage, Durlston, Studland” and was published at Burts Stores, Swanage which was in the lower High Street.
