Flooding in Station Road in March 1914
After heavy rains Station Road and many roads in the town centre were flooded in March 1914.
This photo dated to 9th March 1914 shows Station Road.
On the left side of the photo is the Swanage Post Office next to a clothing shop. On the right side in the distance is a Garage where the supermarket is now located.
Two horses and carts are driving though the flood water.
