Lighting Up Lives – The Switch On at Swanage Pier

Join us on Saturday 5th December from 5:30pm for the dazzling launch of Swanage Pier's Christmas Illuminations!

Enjoy an evening filled with festive entertainment, including live music from local favourites Kelp! and the Allsort'd Choir, plus roaming seasonal characters bringing Christmas cheer to the Pier.

Step inside our Winter Wonderland Marquee, where festive magic comes to life. Capture memorable photos in Father Christmas's sleigh and our snowy mountain cable car, perfect for creating lasting memories with family and friends.

Treat yourself to something delicious from the 1859 Café & Bistro, from festive treats and tasty BBQ favourites to warming seasonal drinks.

At 6:00pm, gather on the Pier for the highlight of the evening as our special guest makes a spectacular arrival before officially switching on the Christmas lights. Join the countdown and watch as Swanage Pier is transformed into a breathtaking festive spectacle.
