The Accommodation

“Mia’s Cottage” is a newly built traditional Purbeck stone cottage which offers luxurious family accommodation in the heart of old Swanage with views of the Purbeck hills, steam railway and surrounding area. It is suitable for a family of up to 6 plus a cot or 3 couples. It is centrally located as it is only a 5 min walk to the town centre, all local amenities and beaches offering convenient access to the Pier and the Downs. The cottage has a large enclosed garden with a Gas BBQ and decking area including garden furniture.

Our cottage provides contemporary stylish holiday accommodation at reasonable prices.

Please note that access to the cottage is gained via one flight of steps so may not be suitable for the infirm.

Short Breaks welcome out of season (November to February) minimum 3 night booking.

Pets are accepted by arrangement.

Children welcome, cot, stair gates and high chair provided.

Directions

Wareham is the nearest Train Station & there is a regular bus service to Swanage. Bournemouth Airport is approx 30 mins by car & Southampton Airport is approx 1hr. Poole is the closest cross channel ferry Port & Portsmouth Port is approx 1hr by car. Car hire is not essential.

Swanage is ideally situated on the Jurassic Coast & is on the coastal path perfect for walkers & for visiting nearby attractions such as Durlston Castle, Kimmeridge, Lulworth Cove/Castle & Durdle Door.

Corfe Castle is approx 10 mins by car or bus. The towns of Bournemouth, Poole, Dorchester & Weymouth can all be easily accessed by car or bus & are within a 25 mile radius of Swanage.

Swanage has 2 supermarkets & plenty of local shops, restaurants & banks all within 5 minutes walking distance of the cottage. Swanage is ideally suited for people looking for outdoor pursuits and leisure activities include diving, sailing, watersports, walking, cycling & climbing.
