The Accommodation

A charming cottage on the Jurassic Coast which has been attractively modernised. It is a 10 minute walk from the beach and Swanage town centre. Great location for walkers and ramblers - a 8-10 minute walk to Townsend Nature Reserve continuing through to Durlston Country Park, Anvil Point Lighthouse and the Dorset Coastal Path. The cottage has views to Ballard Down, the Purbeck Ridge and some sea glimpses from upstairs.
2 Bedrooms: 1 Kingsize,1 Twin. Sleeps 4 adults - Bed linen and towels provided.
Wi-Fi/Broadband + telephone to receive incoming calls. Gas and electricity provided.
Kitchen/dining: electric oven with ceramic hob, fridge with ice box, washing machine, dish-washer, microwave, radio, dining table to seat four.
Child friendly: 2 stair gates, travel cot and high chair all available to use.
Bathroom: shower over bath, separate w.c.
Lounge: comfortable seating, TV with built in DVD player and freeview,radio/CD player/ipod dock.
Fuel: gas central heating.
Garden: mostly paved and gravelled ~ garden furniture/patio umbrella/rotary clothes dryer.
The cottage is located in the Swanage Conservation area.
Parking: There is unlimited roadside parking outside the cottage `Private Road Residents Parking Only`~ this includes visitors staying at the cottage ~ quiet no through short unmade single track road.

Directions

Assumed start point is driving through Swanage Town centre - go straight up the High Street passing Black Swan pub on your left - continue until you reach a fork in the road - bear left into Priest Road and Cowlease is immediately on your left. Cowlease is a short unmade-up single track road - recently re-laid. Lavender Cottage is No.7 Cowlease. There is also further unrestricted parking in nearby streets.
