Every year for the weekend on the second Friday after the August Bank Holiday Monday Swanage comes alive with hundreds of Morris dancers in their bright costumes and jingling bells, and folk music lovers.

Folk music followers can flock to the join-in sessions, concerts and try something new at workshops. 

There is something for everyone, including activities for children as the whole town joins in the festivities with many pubs offering music in the evenings.
