A long awaited, not to be missed, solo art exhibition by Purbeck artist and sculptor Andrew Thomas SWAc, will be opening its doors from May 28th for nine days. This is the first opportunity in many years for art lovers to be able to experience such a large body of his work all under one roof, with a selection of pieces spanning back over more than thirty years, plus his latest thought provoking, challenging and inspirational new works; The ‘Transformation’ series, and ‘Essence of Purbeck’ series. There will be original hand carved wood sculptures, limited-edition bronze castings, ‘laser art’ canvas prints and gift cards available to purchase, with a range of ‘affordable art’ pieces for collectors to choose from. This is a free event for all to enjoy.
It gives me great pleasure to be able to offer a little creative oasis in the midst of these difficult times that we are experiencing, and to invite all to come along and lose yourselves in my work for a while, which will be organised across the venue in different rooms and areas. I will be at the venue most days to welcome you and answer any questions about my work.
Andrew Thomas is a professional sculptural artist based in the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset, with a lifelong career in the arts, spanning back over the past 34 years.
