National Trust event. Bring your own brave teddy to rescue one of our knights and escape down the zip-wire.

King John was notorious for keeping prisoners at his favourite stronghold of Corfe Castle. After the defeat of his nephew Arthur in 1202 he had 22 knights imprisoned here. Can you help one of them escape?

Bring your own brave teddy to Corfe Castle or select one of our veteran teddy soldiers. Send them up to the castle keep to rescue one of the knights from the clutches of King John &help them to escape down the teddy bear zip-wire.

Event ticket prices: This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.

What to bring and wear: Bring sensible outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear as well as your own brave teddy bear.

Accessibility: Please be aware that there are steps, steep slopes and uneven paths in the castle. There is wheelchair access to the Outer Bailey only.
