National Trust event. Journey through the ruins with Corfe Castle’s own Lord of Misrule.

Dating back to medieval England, the Lord of Misrule tradition continues at Corfe Castle this Christmas. Join our very own mischief-maker as you journey through the castle ruins, learn about medieval traditions and join in with games, dances and entertainment to brighten the long cold winter.

Event ticket prices: This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.

Suitability: Suitable for children. Dogs on leads are welcome.

Meeting point: Tours will start from the castle entrance at the following times: Daytime: 10:30, 11:30, 1pm, 2pm &3pm. Winter Light evenings: 4:30 &5:30pm.

What to bring and wear: If you'll be visiting after dusk please bring a torch for the walk from the car park and for your tour of the ruins. Dress weather appropriately in warm clothing and please wear sturdy footwear.

Accessibility: Please be aware that there are steps, steep slopes, and uneven paths in the castle. There is wheelchair access to the Outer Bailey only.
