National Trust event. Create a new family tradition with some carol singing in the castle this Christmas. Step inside the ruins and get into the festive spirit. Join local choirs and sing your heart out to Christmas carols old and new.

With their origins in the fifteenth century, carol singing is an important part of the festive season.
This will be an atmospheric evening, with a concert in the castle from a local choir. The castle lights will be lit throughout the event and the tea-room and shop will be open serving festive winter warmers until 6.30pm.
Event ticket prices: This event is free, but normal admission charges apply for the venue.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Dogs on leads are welcome.
Meeting point: At the castle ticket office.
What to bring and wear: Please bring a torch for the walk from the car park up to the castle, and for reading your song sheet. Dress warmly and appropriately for weather conditions.
Accessibility: *Please note: For this event, castle access will only include the Outer Bailey from 4pm. There is wheelchair access to the Outer Bailey, however please be aware of uneven paths in the castle.
