Seashore foraging walk (half day / no min age )

Date: Sunday, 21 May 2017
Time(s): 09:30 to 12:30

Type: Sport and Exercise, Walks

To forage is to get outside, in your urban or rural environment, to open your eyes and to seek out the food that is growing around you that you can access for free. It’s a way to make a connection between your environment and to the food on your plate; to make nature into a treasure hunt for the tummy. With a foreshore forage we'll sensitively explore our patch of Jurassic Coastline from the woods to the shore; looking at seaweeds, sea vegetables and what the hedgerows have to offer- learning skills in identification (and maybe even cooking!) £40pp for adults £20pp for under 16s
