I experienced a really lovely overnight stay here with my boyfriend, the room was fab, over looking the garden. The owners were friendly and welcoming, we are looking forward to going again in the near future, when we can experience breakfast in the garden. Huge thanks for a great stay! Sam & Ben

Very welcoming hosts in a beautiful place . The garden is stunning & lovely to sit in with a cup of tea on the swing seat . Good well equipped room , fabulous breakfast & hostess tray with a good selection of teas , coffees & chocolate . Plus choccy biscuits . There are lots of things to do in the area , not least of all , the walks . All in all a wonderful place to stay . We certainly will be making a return visit .

Angela and Des have a wonderful idyllic and very comfortable self contained room with views of their pretty garden. The room is perfectly appointed with everything that you could possibly need for a wonderful break. An excellent full English breakfast is served in the room on the little dining table. Everything is fresh and tasty including the delicious toast which comes with homemade preserves and a cafetiere of fresh coffee. There is a little fridge in the room that you can use to keep drinks cool and have some fresh milk for the tea and coffee making facilities. The shower room is smart and stylish like the rest of the room, the towels are replaced with fresh ones every day. Angela and Des are so welcoming that it truly feels like we were staying with friends. We can't recommend staying with them more highly if you want a romantic break in one of the best parts of the UK there is.

Good location - lovely to be able to walk straight out onto Ballard Down, and to have easy access to both ridge walking and coast. Accommodation bright and clean, with a gently nautical theme, and friendly, thoughtful hosts. Being welcome to come and go during the day was a bonus. Breakfast is quality: and the chef a mine of useful local information (don't miss the Square and Compass Inn at Worth Matravers...) Thoroughly recommended - only caveat being that (much) older/less mobile folk might not find enough room to manoeuvre in the room. Many thanks for a very enjoyable stay.
