Potholes in swsanage, 25th January
There are 4 potholes along this road the largest being 0.65 metre across very close to the school. Vehicles have to cross over onto the opposite side of the road to avoid these. These are very deep potholes and have cause many punchers in the local area but more importantly cars are swerving towards the school to miss them.

Dangerously narrow pavement, 19th October
This pavement is very dangerously narrow. if the pavement can't be widened (perhaps at the expense of the one opposite) perhaps consideration should be given to removing this altogether, to remove the danger of inappropriate use.

Dangerous mix of vehicles/pedstrians, 19th October
The cobbled promenade between the Pier and the Old Quay is much used by pedestrians -- who often, especially in the summer but also on many weekends in winter -- have to dodge cars, vans and (most commonly of all) motorbikes. While this can be an attractive spectacle, the uncontrolled massing of up to 150 bikes (I've counted) with people of all ages and abilities (old people, children, etc) is surely dangerous, especially in an environment where people are often in holiday mode and are not fully alert to unexpected threats. This practice should ne managed before there is a serious accident. I have myself experienced a motorbike jostle the pushchair I was wheeling in this area.I really have nothing against bikes, just that this needs managing properly.

Damaged Purbeck Stone pavements , 19th October
Lorries/cars delivering and/or just parking crack the paving slabs. These are left cracked and unsightly for months or years, before possibly being replaced with tarmac or concrete. Stone is such an important part of the heritage of Swanage that these damaged pavements should always be promptly replaced with stone. Of course the cause should be addressed. Is this a matter of stopping vehicles using the pavement, or could the stones be better-laid?

Vegetation obstructing pavement, 17th August
Weeds (ground level) have grown so much that this pavement is now very narrow and one has to walk very near the road - highly dangerous as traffic here is very fast. There is certainly no room for pushchairs etc to pass. This pavement has been in this state for months, yet the pavement to the west of this point has been cleared regularly!
