Purbeck Strings
Promotes an annual Festival in March which offers string players of all ages and abilities an opportunity to perform alongside professionals in workshops, rehearsals and concerts. The residant Stanford Quartet give an evening recital and also lead the sections for Purbeck Festival Strings Concerts which is conducted by Ian Pillow. Each year the music has a differant theme often including newly commissioned piece.
